Learning to Lead the Competition

Attended a marketing seminar in Richmond, Virginia this week with guest speaker Michael Tate. Less travel this week too...visited local educators in Charlottesville and Roanoke, Virginia and did some "grass roots" marketing of our parental involvement resources.

RTI Workshop - September 16, 2009

Miles and Miles

We traveled nearly one thousand miles this week in the state of Virginia. We ventured to extreme southwestern Virginia to Abingdon and Norton and then to northern Virginia where we stopped in Fredericksburg and Falls Church. We also managed to go to Roanoke and the Richmond area. We shared our passion for parental involvement and family literacy with many educational professionals, including head start directors, principals, and PTAs.
